Welcome to the World of Circus Arts

At Sky Craft, we celebrate circus arts and seek to share it with all. We provide aerial arts classes to ages 5 through 99. Our Studio is a place for kids to play and learn, and a place for adults to reach their inner child.

Getting Started with Sky Craft:

Everyone who trains with us must have an account in VAMP, our studio management software. This system is how you will register for classes, pay for things, and manage your schedule with us.

If multiple members of a family will be training at VA, we recommend creating a Family account. Family managers can act on behalf of other members, which is useful especially for parent/child relationships.

Sky Craft strives to provide a welcoming environment for everyone who wishes to train with us, regardless of age, sex, orientation, gender identity, race, ethnicity, religion, size, or ability. Our bathrooms are all-gender. Our studio is on the first floor of our building, which is wheelchair-accessible. We have not worked with many types of disability but are willing to explore if you are.

Payment Methods:

Sky Craft accepts a variety of payment methods, some with processing fees and some without.

Methods without fees:

  • Cash in hand at the studio

  • Check made out to Sky Craft, either brought in person or mailed to the studio (Please contact us to find out a good time to come by and drop off your payment) If paying by check, please note what the check is for and which student, if not the person whose name is on the check. Returned checks will incur a $15 fee to cover our bank charge.

Methods with fees:

  • A 3% fee will be added to all PayPal and Credit/Debit transactions, and is mandatory for amounts over $100.

  • Credit card payments are accepted via the online registration system. You now have the ability to store a credit card in the system for ongoing use. You may opt out of the 3% fee for smaller transactions. If you wish to avoid transaction fees in general, we suggest using one of the fee-free methods to put money into your VAMP account and then pay out from there.

  • PayPal to As with credit cards, we appreciate it if you add in the 3% fee charged by PayPal on all business transactions.

Youth Semester Registration:

A non-refundable $50 deposit holds your space in the class. If you cancel before the session registration cut-off, we will credit the deposit to your VA account for future use.  If you cancel after the cutoff, you forfeit those funds. ½ tuition balance is due on the first day of class, and the remainder halfway through the semester. Drop-ins may be available for session classes as space allows, for an extra $5 drop-in fee.

VAMP Prepaid Account:

You may pre-pay for lessons, drop-ins, open gym, etc by creating an account with Sky Craft’s VAMP scheduling system.  Your account will then be debited any time you sign in at the studio. These funds never expire. Refunds and credits go into this account unless otherwise explicitly arranged. Account funds may be transferred among family members.

Make-up Classes:

You must provide notice if you are going to miss a class in order to qualify for a make-up. We will do our best to find a suitable alternative for you. If none are available, open gym is available for ages 13 & up.

An easy way to let us know about your upcoming absence is on the “Manage Absences” VAMP page.

Aerial and Circus arts are physically demanding activities that sometimes require the physical assistance or spotting of an instructor.
Spotting will always be discussed and explained before being offered (ie: “I will lift your legs and put one hand on your back while I help you in this skill”)
Each time a spot is offered, the students' permission will be obtained. Students are always empowered to say no, or refuse a spot, and will be reminded that they have the option to do so. If the instructor determines that it would be unsafe for the student to execute the skill without spotting, an alternate skill or version of the skill will be offered.
The only time coaches will touch a student without permission is during an emergency or rescue
situation (e.g.: falling, getting stuck in equipment.)

Our students' safety is our primary goal. This includes psychological and emotional as well as physical. We strive to provide an environment that is inclusive, respectful, and supportive.
We have rigorous safety standards for our equipment that include regular inspections for wear and tear. Appropriate mats are always used under aerial equipment and for warmups and tumbling. We have equally high expectations for our teaching staff.

Cancellations & Refunds

If A Student Needs To Cancel:

All refunds require a 5% admin and credit card fee and can only be provided to the original payment method.

Health or Injury Considerations – If a student must withdraw from any program due to health or injury, a full or partial credit may be issued depending on how much of a program the student was able to attend. A doctor’s note is required; exceptions are at the discretion of the studio owners.

Workshops and Summer Camps – 100% of the fee may be refunded prior to one month before the first day of the workshop, after which time 50% of the class fee may be refunded until two weeks before the first day of the workshop, after which time no refund will be given.

Private lessons - must be canceled 48 hours in advance. If canceled at least 48 hours in advance, a full credit will be issued. Lessons missed or canceled without 48 hours notice are not credited or refunded except for extenuating circumstances.

Session Classes – 100% of the class fee will be credited prior to the first week of class. No credit or refund will be given during the first week of class or after.

If Sky Craft Needs To Cancel:

Workshops - If Sky Craft cancels a workshop for any reason, the students will receive a full refund.

Session Classes - If Sky Craft cancels a single meeting of a session class for a reason other than weather (for instance coach illness), we will make every effort to schedule a makeup class at a mutually agreed upon time. If a makeup cannot be scheduled, a credit for the single class will be issued.

Private Lessons – If Sky Craft needs to cancel a private lesson for any reason (for example coach illness), the student will be notified as soon as possible and will receive a full credit.

Weather-Related Cancellations:

In the case of inclement weather, Sky Craft will announce closings on Facebook, our website, and/or email.

Any private lessons canceled by the student OR by Sky Craft for weather-related issues will result in a full credit.

Any session classes canceled by Sky Craft will result in a credit for the amount of that class.
