Welcome to the World of Circus Arts

At Sky Craft, we celebrate circus arts and seek to share it with all.

We provide quality aerial arts instruction to all humans ages 3 & up.

Our Studio is a place for kids to learn, play, and feel safe, and for adults to reach their inner child.

Getting Started with Sky Craft:

Everyone who trains with us must have an account in VAMP, our studio management software. This system is how you will register for classes, pay for things, and manage your schedule with us.

If multiple members of a family will be training at VA, we recommend creating a Family account. Family managers can act on behalf of other members, which is useful especially for parent/child relationships.

Inclusivity:

Sky Craft strives to provide a welcoming environment for everyone who wishes to train with us, regardless of age, sex, orientation, gender identity, race, ethnicity, religion, size, or ability. Our bathrooms are all-gender. Our studio is on the first floor of our building, which is wheelchair-accessible. We have not worked with many types of disability but are willing to explore if you are.

Payment Methods:

Sky Craft accepts a variety of payment methods, some with processing fees and some without.

Methods without fees:

  • Cash in hand at the studio

  • Check made out to Sky Craft, either brought in person or mailed to the studio (Please contact us to find out a good time to come by and drop off your payment) If paying by check, please note what the check is for and which student, if not the person whose name is on the check. Returned checks will incur a $15 fee to cover our bank charge.

Methods with fees:

  • A 3% fee will be added to all PayPal and Credit/Debit transactions, and is mandatory for amounts over $100.

  • Credit card payments are accepted via the online registration system. You now have the ability to store a credit card in the system for ongoing use. You may opt out of the 3% fee for smaller transactions. If you wish to avoid transaction fees in general, we suggest using one of the fee-free methods to put money into your VAMP account and then pay out from there.

  • PayPal to skycraftcircus@gmail.com. As with credit cards, we appreciate it if you add in the 3% fee charged by PayPal on all business transactions.

VAMP Prepaid Account:

You may pre-pay for lessons, drop-ins, open gym, etc by creating an account with Sky Craft’s VAMP scheduling system.  Your account will then be debited any time you sign in at the studio. These funds never expire. Refunds and credits go into this account unless otherwise explicitly arranged. Account funds may be transferred among family members.

Make-up Classes:

You must provide notice if you are going to miss a class in order to qualify for a make-up. We will do our best to find a suitable alternative for you. If none are available, open gym is available for ages 13 & up.

An easy way to let us know about your upcoming absence is on the “Manage Absences” VAMP page.

Spotting:

Aerial and Circus arts are physically demanding activities that sometimes require the physical assistance or spotting of an instructor.
Spotting will always be discussed and explained before being offered (ie: “I will lift your legs and put one hand on your back while I help you in this skill”)
Each time a spot is offered, the students' permission will be obtained. Students are always empowered to say no, or refuse a spot, and will be reminded that they have the option to do so. If the instructor determines that it would be unsafe for the student to execute the skill without spotting, an alternate skill or version of the skill will be offered.
The only time coaches will touch a student without permission is during an emergency or rescue
situation (e.g.: falling, getting stuck in equipment.)

Safety:

Our students' safety is our primary goal. This includes psychological and emotional as well as physical. We strive to provide an environment that is inclusive, respectful, and supportive.
We have rigorous safety standards for our equipment that include regular inspections for wear and tear. Appropriate mats are always used under aerial equipment and for warmups and tumbling. We have equally high expectations for our teaching staff.

Youth Semester Registration:

A non-refundable $50 deposit holds your space in the class. ½ tuition balance is due on the first day of class, and the remainder halfway through the semester.
